Our jewelry is designed and handcrafted in Finland from 100% recycled gold and sterling silver. At the heart of Lumoava jewelry lies a timeless and fresh design that evokes emotions year after year. Every piece we create is a testament to the northernmost jewelry manufactory in the world, where sustainable values meet a passion for excellence.
The Art of Crafting Our Jewelry
The creation of a piece of jewelry is a story of collaboration: an homage to tradition and a celebration of the present moment. Most of our collections are born through a meticulous casting method, beginning with a master piece. This unique original is the result of a partnership between the designer, the 3D modeler, and the model maker. Each master piece is finished with the utmost care, as it serves as the foundation for the entire collection.
The process continues through the creation of molds and wax trees, leading to the moment when molten silver or gold fills the plaster mold. Each component is then cut free and passed to our master goldsmiths for finishing.
Some of our iconic designs, such as Hali and Onnekas, are created by piercing and pressing precious metal sheets into their final, soulful forms.

From the first drafts, shapes and proportions are refined with patience. We believe in the importance of pausing in the presence of beauty to notice the details that often go unnoticed. Our inspiration flows from the living world: its phenomena, emotions, and shifting trends.
Whether created digitally or by hand, every three-dimensional model reflects our sensitivity to our surroundings. Once the form is perfected, we select the ideal surface finish — glossy, matte, brushed, or satin — to complete the jewelry’s unique expression.
